A young person with a Navan address who appeared at Trim District Court on burglary charges was the subject of two separate books of evidence and has been sent for trial.
The person who was 17 last October was charged with production of a breadknife on the 5 th February last, along with the unauthorised taking of a vehicle and burglary at a location in Navan. A second charge outlined an allegation that he carried an imitation shotgun with intent to commit burglary at a premises at Blackcastle Lodge, Navan on 27 th October last.
Garda McIntyre and Garda Shine gave evidence of having served separate books of evidence on the accused. Judge Eirinn McKiernan gave free legal aid to the accused in the form of solicitors David McEntee and Miriam Regan and two barristers. The accused was remanded on hi own bail to appear for trial at Trim Circuit Court on 28 th April next.
