A man in his 50’s has died following a road traffic collision between his motorcycle and a car in Dunboyne, Co Meath, yesterday early afternoon at about 12.15. He was pronounced dead at the scene on the R156 at Harlockstown and remove to the mortuary at Navan Hospital. The other driver involved in the accident, a lady in her 70’s, was not injured.

The scene has been forensically examined and an incident room has been established at Ashbourne Garda Station. Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward, including anyone with dash-cam footage.
