Fine Gael Cllr Sarah Reilly has called on Meath County Council to take in charge The Cloisters estate on the Oldcastle Road in Kells. She made the call at a recent Kells Municipal District meeting. Officials replied that they had a valid taking in charge request and the estate was on its list for this process.
However, they were unable to give an exact timeframe because council workflow was at capacity. The councillor also asked for a presentation to be made to councillors on the public realm plan for Lloyd. Officials replied that the planning department would aim to update the councillors as early as possible.
