A complaint about an incident alleged to have happened at a local residence is currently being investigated by Kells Gardai.
Meath Live understands the initial complaint over the alleged incident was made to police in France.
One man has been arrested and questioned.
A Garda spokesperson said, ‘Gardaí in Kells continue to investigate a complaint received earlier this year concerning a residence in the area.
‘A man has been arrested and questioned as part of this investigation. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
‘As this is an ongoing investigation, An Garda Síochána has no further information available at this time.’
