Report Paul Murphy
Something is going to have to be done about the traffic situation on Swan Lane Navan, a councillor has told a meeting of Navan Municipal District. Fine Gael Cllr John Duffy raised the issue at the September meeting of the MD. Cushioning or flashing lights might be needed, he said.

There were gates on that lane but they disappeared and no one knew where they went, he said. One gate went first and the other one at a later date. Bollards that could be raised and lowered might be the answer, he said. An official said that the legal position would need to be ascertained before anything could be done.
