A man who appeared at Trim District Court on alleged sexual assault charges has been sent for trial. The accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was accused of 16 counts of sexual assault of another male at Oldcastle, Co Meath between August 1996 and August 2000. Garda Flynn gave evidence of having served a book of evidence on the accused who was then sent forward by Judge Eirinn McKiernan for trial at Trim Circuit Court this month.
